Not only does the map look a ton nicer than what’s currently available from mapquest/yahoo maps/etc, but you can click and drag the map around. Simply brilliant.

Yeah, I saw this today as well and played with it quite a bit. You can enter your city, and it will display..then search in the box again entering something else (like “pizza hut” or something) and it pegs all of them around that location. This mapping system rocks.

Wow! That is pretty spiffy! And yes, WAY better than mapquest!…except, where is it linked from google’s main page? I don’t see anything for maps…or am I just missing something blantantly obvious?
