…just got an email back that my 2004 tax return was accepted by the IRS overlords. It feels good to have that done. I think it’s the first time since I’ve been doing my own taxes that I’ve gotten it in before the ides of March, let alone before the 2nd week of April. Let’s hear it for not having to stay up till midnight on April 14th. :-)

Yeah, they’re kind of a pain. You almost just have to set aside a Saturday or something to get them done… I try and do them in Feb, and if there’s a refund coming I submit them right away, otherwise I send my payment on April 15th.. :-)
Taxes, what are they? …just kidding. But I did find it rather apropos that you cited the day Caesar was assassinated in a posting on taxes: “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
