SunRocket Coolness

I just love seeing that.

This is an excerpt from my SunRocket call logs. A few days ago, I got a call from a “Research Company”, no doubt calling me to do a survey about something or other. I promply hung up on them, went to my SunRocket admin page, looked up their number in the call logs, and added it to my blocked numbers list. Since then, they’ve called back several times, as is shown by the above picture, but due to them being on the blocked numbers list, the call doesn’t ring through. :-)

That’s awesome — I did the initial setup, then some configuration, and I think I need to go back in and make some changes. We’re giving out our main phone number only to friends/family and telling them not to give it to anyone. Then we give out our second number to everyone else (companies, anywhere it’ll possibly be on a list, etc). We currently have that just ring once and go to voicemail, but will probably set it up to not even do that, and just email us when we get a voicemail.

Regarding the annoying phone calls, we keep getting a call from Comcast and it rings then hangs up. They do this multiple times a day (like 5-10), and even if we pick it up *as it rings*, we still don’t get anyone on the line. We’ve called them to ask them what’s up and they can’t figure it out. I’m going to add them to the blocked list if it continues…

Sounds like a good idea. I love the blacklist.
