SunRocket Coolness

I just love seeing that.

This is an excerpt from my SunRocket call logs. A few days ago, I got a call from a “Research Company”, no doubt calling me to do a survey about something or other. I promply hung up on them, went to my SunRocket admin page, looked up their number in the call logs, and added it to my blocked numbers list. Since then, they’ve called back several times, as is shown by the above picture, but due to them being on the blocked numbers list, the call doesn’t ring through. :-)

Launch rescheduled!

Looks like the shuttle launch has been rescheduled for July 26th.

Mornin’ all…Meghan and I had a rather productive evening last night. Events included (but are not limited to):

  1. Weed whipping
  2. Hedge Trimming
  3. Lawn Watering
  4. Beer bottling

Oh - and in other news, some jerks in London decided to flaunt their testosterone again today, in the form of a few (rather ineffective) bombs.

A little tuesday evening wardriving…

After being inspired by a little hack that my coworker Kurt showed me, I went on a little wardrive tonight around Blaine, the result of which is a KML file, which you can import into Google Earth. Feel free to download the file and give it a try…pretty cool stuff. I drove around for about a litte over an hour and located 266 APs. Of those found, roughly half were unsecured…which actually took me by surprise. From the few past wardrives I’ve done, I’ve come to expect that only a quarter of the access points are secured.

hot hot hot

Our original plan for this weekend was for us (Meghan and I) to go camping. Well after seeing the temperature forecasts for this weekend, we decided on thursday to cancel our camping plans. What with Meghan being pregnant, and with me being quite heat-averse, we decided that was the best decision.

So…in lieu of caming, we went to the opposite end of the spectrum and headed to Ikea and hugedale this evening. Ikea was fun, as always…we were interested to see what they carried in the way of cribbage for the baby room, but we didn’t really like any of their offerrings. We did feast on some of their extrememly good swedish meatballs, lingonberries, and lingonberry soda, though. That made our respective tummies happy.

Following Ikea, we drove across the street to Hugedale to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was quite an enjoyable movie, though a bit slow at times. Perhaps that was becase the story is so familiar. Anyways, Depp does an excellent (albeit a bit wierd) job of playing Willie Wonka. I’d give it a 6/10 I guess.
