Evangelion ’05

On Sunday this week, I attended (and did sound for) the Evangelion Chorale’s 2005 Bon Voyage concert. For those who don’t know, Evangelion is a semi-professional choir started in 1998 by Dennis Port, director of the Bethel Choir. Since then, it has travelled regularly to Ukraine with a mission to expose the arts community there to high-quality sacred music and to enforce the fact that christian beliefs and good art indeed can co-exist. Anyway, the concert was excellent, and it really made me sad that I’m not going along with them this year. Perhaps I’ll be able to go on the 2007 tour.
