Modern Day Indy

We rented National Treasure last night…decent movie. Nothing special, though. This has probably been said before about the movie, but it’s just a modern day Indiana Jones take-off. Overall, I’d rate it 5/10.

For a change, we rented this one from one of the new Redbox DVD vending machines that are in all McDonalds locations. It was very slick. They had a selection of ~30 or so newish DVDs to rent. You pay $1 per night, and you can return it at any other location, which worked out quite well. We picked up the movie last night at the McD’s in Blaine, and then I returned the McDonalds on University and Broadway on my way into work. Slick. One dollar is pretty cheap for a night’s entertainment!

Interesting — I’d say any modern day Indiana Jones movie would be a compliment.. I thought it was great. Unique plot in general (no holy grail, involved the U.S. directly), and it wasn’t completely predictable.

I’d give it an 8/10 (considering I like these types of movies..) :)

    $1 is a great deal!

I would agree, I think it is a great movie. I also thought it was pretty funny. Plus the history, true or not, was interesting. Plus- 006 was in the movie, how can you not like that?
