First D70 Pictures

Our new shiny D70 camera arrived yesterday…and as you’d expect, I spent the whole evening playing :-).
Here are the firstfruits of the new camera. Nothing special – just a few shots I took around the house. We happened to be watching Ella last night, so she got to be in several of the pictures.
I like how there are 4 shots of the friends’ toddler, 3 shots of the wife, and 2 shots of the grill. It’s all about priorities…. :-)

ahhh…. sorry, the cones in my retina that pick up the color green must not be working this morning… no coffee yet….

Very nice. I don’t really see how they can look much better. Zooming in on far away distances look crisp.
Well – there are a ton of color balance/white balance settings I need to familiarize myself with in order to get the most out of the camera.
