Minnesota Music Wiki
This week, MPR announced Minnewiki. It’s a wiki devoted to information about minnesota bands, musicians, venues, etc. There’s not a whole lot of content up there yet, but it looks promising. Today, I added two pages – one for Halloween, Alaska, and one for The Bad Plus.
Technical note: they’re using MediaWiki to drive this guy. MediaWiki is the wiki package that runs all of the WikiMedia sites – Wikipedia, Wiktionary, Wikinews, etc. MediaWiki really seems to be becoming the de-facto standard in Wiki engines out there.
