Life and Death

December 6th, 2005 No comments

Some of you have already heard, but this morning I was one of three eye-witnesses to a tragic accident on my way to work. I’ll spare you the details, but the long and the short of is is that a teenager (who had the right-of-way), while crossing University, was run over by a semi truck, which was making a right-turn on red. The boy died on the scene. Please keep his family in your prayers. I can’t imagine what it would be like to receive the news they had to receive today. WCCO-TV picked up the story.

The (extended) Anderson Family Christmas

December 5th, 2005 No comments

Meghan, Bjorn, and I returned last night from spending the weekend at the parent’s place in Spicer. Normally the extended Anderson family gets together for a Christmas celebration on Christmas Eve, but this year, we moved the date forward a few weeks so that my grandparents could get to Texas a few weeks earlier. We had a delightful time, and it was great to introduce Bjorn to a few more of his relatives (it was nice to have a few more eager hands to take care of him, too).

A few pictures are up here.
