I *knew* something was off…

In my opinion, Steve Jobs’ keynote Tuesday at Macworld left a little to be desired.  Yes, he did introduce a few cool products, but overall, the whole thing dragged.  Anyway – here is a bit of inside information from a supposedly reliable source inside Apple.  Sounds like Jobs’ original keynote had to be largely scrapped due to supply issues with the new CoreDuo processors.

Actually, I believe I was the one who was telling you that something was a little off with the unveiling of the MacBook Pros. If we need proof, there is always the IM log of our conversation. ;-) Just kidding.

But this information, as reliable or unreliable as it may be, does cause the mind to begin contemplating even cooler products out of Cupertino. Also, this gives those at MacRumors.com something to talk about on their forums. I was worrying they weren’t going to have anything to discuss with the arrival of IntelInside.

Yes – I remember now that you mentioned that. Sorry for not crediting you ;-)

No problem. I was just gladdened to find affirmation that my purchase of a G4 PowerBook two months ago was still a good idea. You know, buyer’s remorse and all.
