Daily Reads/Listens

I find it quite interesting to see lists of what friends are currently reading (blogs/podcasts/books/etc). Here’s my list for your enjoyment, organized into semi-coherant categories. Except for the books and podcasts, this is basically a dump of the RSS feeds I subscribe to.

Faith

Friends

Linklogs

Misc

Book

Podcasts

I think that’s about it…do any of you have further suggestions for items I could add to my list?

  1. That’s quite a list. Though the singular of the category “Book” concerns me. ;-) Once you finish the behemoth that is “The Making of the Atomic Bomb,” you should read through the Michael Frayn play “Copenhagen.” A quick Wikipedia search will give you the main synopsis.

  2. I came across this google world file on the web from here: http://andersonfam.org/filez/20050719.kml
and it has my wireless ssid on it so I thought I’d see which neighbor is recording this info. Turns out to be an old compsci classmate from Bethel! Good to see its in good hands.

  3. Heh - interesting. What’s up, Mr. Eggers?

I’d be interested to see what google search you did that brought you to my site…

  4. I don’t have the volume of sites you have, but I’d guess that I obsess over mine more than you do:

  5. [...] I really want to write a book. Erik’s daily reads/listens post inspired me to do my own: [...]

  6. It was actually from ask.com. I wanted to test out their supposed new search engine capabilities so I searched on eggsurplus: http://www.ask.com/web?q=eggsurplus&qsrc=0&o=0

It was the bottom link of the first page of results.
